You can add photos to contacts using the Android Phone to make your Contacts List more appealing Instead of having contacts shown as the initial two characters of their name in the Contacts List. Another advantage of assigning photos to contacts in the Android Phone is that your Contacts Photos will show up on the screen when they call you. This allows you to instantly recognize who is calling you without needing to read names.
Add Photos to Contacts On Android Phone
Use the following steps to create or assign photos to contacts using Your Android Phone.
1. Tap on the Contacts App on your Android Phone
2. From the list of Contacts, click on the Contact you wish to include or assign a photo.
3. On the next screen, click on the Edit button, which is located at the upper right-hand part of your display.
4. On the Contacts Detail Screen, tap the Camera icon that is located next to the name of the contact (See the image below).
5. Once you tap on the Camera icon, you’ll be presented with a pop-up menu with two options for adding photos to your contact (See the image below).
You can either tap Image to choose a photo within the Image Gallery or tap on Take Picture to take a new photo with an Android Phone.
6. In case you clicked Image then you’ll be directed through the Image Gallery. Choose a picture from the Gallery that you would like to give the Contact by pressing it.
7. On the next screen, you will be able to modify the image. Make sure to tap Done once you are happy with the changes.
8. Next, tap on Save to save the Contacts Photo.
Change or Delete Contact Photos On Android Phone
It is easy to modify or delete images associated with contact lists on your Android Phone and replace them with fresh ones should you think that the photo of a Contact is not up-to-date or are not interested in images that is associated with a specific Contact.
1. Tap on the Contacts App on your Android Phone
2. From the list of Contacts, tap the Contact you wish to change the image for.
3. On the next screen, you can tap the Edit button. It is located in the upper-right edge of the screen.
4. On the Contact’s screen, tap the Contact’s photo, which is near the name of the contact.
5. On the popup menu, click on Image to choose a different Photo to add from your Gallery. Or click Remove to delete the picture that was assigned to this particular person on the Android Phone (See image below).
Notice: You cannot add photos to contacts if the Contacts are stored on your SIM Card.
